Equality Associates

VSDB Equality Associates are a group of people who are committed to ensuring and promoting the value of Equality and Diversity across society and in the workplace. We believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to fulfil their potential and that to encourage this to happen we need to:

  • Raise awareness of the value of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
  • Ensure employers understand their duties under the Law
  • Encourage employers and employees to understand the issues and challenges around equalities in society and in the workplace
  • Assist employers to put in place strategies to build capacity around equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Assist employers to remove barriers to equality and inclusion in the workplace, whether these are conscious or unconscious
  • Assist employers to demonstrate and celebrate achievements in equalities, diversity and inclusion

Associates are trained and experienced in delivering capacity building interventions and work in pairs with our clients. Their work is regularly evaluated.
